Computer Name not Showing for AirMic within iScribe Application

When logged into iScribe and utilizing AirMic, users should see the computer name within the drop down, while under the AirMic Section.

If the computer name is missing within the AirMic portion of iScribe, follow the steps below:

  • Ensure you are logged into AirMic on the computer, with the same username and password that is being used for the mobile app

  • Check AirMic on the computer to ensure you are not utilizing the local microphone

    • Open the AirMic widget

    • Look to see if at the bottom it says "Exit local microphone"

      • This indicates you are using the microphone of the computer for recording, and not the phone's

    • Select "Exit local microphone"

    • Go back to the iScribe App and navigate to AirMic

    • The computer name should now display in the dropdown

    • Apple device microphone can now be utilized for recording
